EXPEDIA — MADE TO TRAVEL
Integrated Brand Storytelling
In 2022, as the world thawed from COVID, Expedia re-emerged
as the ultimate dreamy, elevated travel brand.
Powered by a new creative-led organization—stacked with aesthetic visionaries fresh from Apple—Expedia transformed into a bold creative force in travel. This curated collection of dreamlike photography for Expedia's U.S. out-of-home campaign reinforced a powerful truth:
Travel isn't just a thing you do—it's a full-on sensory experience
to create memories, and dream new dreams.
My role was to push Expedia's visual storytelling further, shaping the brand's evolving identity through photography. I led the discovery, selection, curation and licensing of all imagery for this campaign, drawing direct inspiration from the Italian Renaissance. I reimagined the use of diptychs and triptychs—pairing visuals in twos and threes to create immersive, painterly windows into memory.
I collaborated around the clock with executive creative directors, brand integration teams, and media strategists—and loved every minute. Once the campaign went live, I commissioned photographers to document the work in the wild across NYC and Los Angeles.
The campaign echoed across major cities: hand-painted murals in Miami and NYC, train station takeovers in Philly, and billboards lighting up LA, Chicago, San Francisco, and more.
The Made to Travel brand vision extended across out-of-home, film, and digital performance creative. Within that larger campaign, the diptych and triptych approach I developed carried a distinctive photographic language from brand expression into demand capture—connecting the emotional promise of travel with more immediate, action-oriented messaging.
WISDOM & OBI
This film moves through memory and imagination—match-cutting bathwater to sea, beige carpet to sand. It captures how travel stirs longing, then delivers something real.
One of the first films produced entirely by Expedia's newly established in-house creative team, the piece blends intimacy with cinematic vision. I supported the production by licensing app UI segments and sourcing bespoke photography from across Jamaica, helping ground the narrative in lived beauty and emotional truth.
SONIA & BILL
When winter closes in, two best friends turn to Expedia and ChatGPT to chase the sun.
I consulted on the script and helped ground the story in lived experience by bringing in members from Expedia’s disability employee resource group, the Ability Inclusion Movement (AIM)--which I co-founded.
Expedia also partnered in this effort with Wheel the World, an accessible travel platform helping people with disabilities discover and book travel experiences with verified accessibility information.

FROM BRAND EXPRESSION
TO DEMAND CAPTURE
The triptych visual language I developed for Made to Travel extended beyond out-of-home into performance-driven creative, bringing Expedia’s new brand identity to life across channels.
For these demand-capture videos, I worked with creative directors, design, legal, business affairs, and performance marketing teams to curate, source, and license imagery that carried the campaign's cinematic storytelling into more conversion-focused environments.
The result: a consistent brand expression connecting the emotional promise of travel with the moments when travelers are ready to act.
